..::Veronica & Noah::..

Noah remained at Poppy’s place for two days and then he came back to his apartment. The time with Poppy was great, the sex with her was great and passionate. He has never felt like this before, he had never desire someone like that.
Once back in his apartment, Noah’s thoughts became clearer. he had cheated on Veronica, he was a betrayer, he was guilty. He felt bad and he promised himself to never do it again.
He wanted to talk to Poppy and told her that it was a mistake, it was over. He knew she would probably cry, but he was determined to put an end of it all.

Veronica arrived in late evening, she seemed happy and tired at the same time. When he saw her, he felt bad, guilty, he felt disgusted by himself. How could he have done so? He loved her and he was really happy to see her.

N. - How did it go? - he asked while he’s embracing her. He was glad to have her back.
V. - It was great! All went well! I’ve never seen all that crowd in an art gallery. - she said tired and excited.
N. - I’m really happy for you. I told you so. - he laughed. A sense of emptiness raised inside him. - I’m so proud of you, Ver! - 
V. - Yes, you told me. - she was happy to be with him again. - Thank you, honey! -

They ate together, Veronica tell him everything about the grand opening and he listened at her, but his mind was somewhere else.

Later in the bedroom…

V. - Oh Noah I missed you so much! Did you miss me? - she giggled.
N. - Yes! Of course! I really missed you too. - it was true, for a while. But the truth was another, he had sex with Poppy and he forgot Veronica for all the time he spent with Poppy. Why he has done so?
V. - I have one free day, A sort of holiday. We could stay together, go to the bowling or anything you want. How it sounds? - 
N. - Yeah, it’s… - he continued to think about he has done. - It sounds good! -
V. - Uhm.. just good? - she grumbled.
N. - I’m sorry, I was just thinking about… Leave it! - he sighed. - It sounds great sweatheart. I really need to be with you for a while. - it was the truth, he really wanted to fix up things with her.

They fell asleep in each other’s arms. Noah’s nightmares came back to him again. He dreamed to be with Veronica and then Poppy went to him, they had sex again while Veronica stared at them without saying a word. It was awful!
