..::Poppy::..
Poppy decided to clarify with Quinn, she wanted to know what he had to tell her. Of course, she was afraid he wanted to leave her or confess that he had another woman.
P. - You’ve told me you need to talk to me. -
Q. - Yes, I do. There’s something I want you to know. - he took a deep breath. -  I had a wife. - he revealed.
P. - You WHAT?? -
Q. - We’re no longer married… I mean… She’s… She is dead. -
P. - What? - she was confused, she didn't expect something like this.
Q. - I wanted to tell you, but I didn’t know how to do it. And then it’s not all, I have a son. - he looked at her and he was the surprise and the fear in her eyes. - We were young, too young. I met her in high school, we have been together for a while and then she got pregnant. I wasn’t sure to want to keep the baby, about marriage and so on, but I thought he had to. Bridget wasn’t a good mom, she had never been. After the birth of our son, she went back to the bad company of the high school's years. She was often drunk, she abused drugs and left alone our infant son. -
P. - Oh my God, Quinn, I’m so sorry to hear it. I think it was very hard for you. -
Q. - Yes, it was. She started to go out in the evening and didn’t come back until the morning. She spent her time with her friends or other men. It was getting worse, until one morning the police called me, they’ve found her in an alley, she was dead. Overdose. -
P. - Quinn… I… - she felt so bad for having thought the worst.
Q. - It’s gone! She is gone! Now I’m happy with my son. That’s why I never wanted to invite you to my apartment! - he sighed - I understand if you do not want to see me anymore. -
P. - I won't, Quinn. I… I love you! Please tell me more about your son. -
They spent the rest of the dinner talking about Quinn’s son. Poppy wanted to know everything and Quinn told her his story.
Q. - I’m happy you didn’t leave me. -
P. - I would never have done it, but you should have told me before. -
Q. - You’re right. I was stupid! I’d like to introduce you to my son if you agree. -
P. - I’d like it too. -
