After a short wait, a nurse went and called Veronica’s name to enter in the ultrasound room. Once there the doctor asked her to put off her top and lying on the hospital bed.

Doctor - So this is your first pregnancy, are you excited? - they both nodded. - We’re going to see the baby and if we’ll be lucky we can find out the gender, do you want to know it? - she asked kindly.
V. - Yes, of course! - she said looking at Noah.
N. - We want to be sure which color painting the walls. - he replied with a smile. Noah was holding Veronica’s hand and tighten it a bit.
Doctor - Oh yes, you’re already setting up the nursery room, right? - she asked.
N. - Veronica is very anxious and she wants to have everything ready as soon as possible. - he laughed.
V. - I’m not anxious!! - she muttered.
Doctor - It’s perfectly normal to be anxious, it’s your first child. - she smiled sweetly at Veronica. - How is it going with your morning sickness? - the doctor asked.
V. - It’s getting better, but the last week has been awful, I had to take some days off. - 
N. - Is it normal, isn’t it? - he asked barely worried.
Doctor - There’s no standard, every pregnancy is a stand-alone case. - she replied. - If you feel fine and you don’t have cramps or similar and you not bleed, that means that everything is okay. - the doctor was so sweet and careful. - Do you feel the baby move regularly? - 
V. - Yes, always! - she replied.
