Veronica knew that there was only one way to clear her mind from any doubt, leave the past at her back and go on. So she went to Poppy’s apartment just to find out that the woman had moved some months earlier. Then she called all of her former friends until she discovered Poppy’s new address.
She waited for about two hours and then Poppy appeared.
V. - Hi Poppy… - Poppy suddenly stopped.
P. - Ve-Veronica! -
